Facilities & Accessibility

Welcome to Avon Valley & Adventure Wildlife Park!  There is so much to do whatever the weather with indoor and outdoor fun and adventure for all the family!  As an outdoor farm attraction with a proportion of our park situated on a flood plain we are unable to open some areas in the Winter Months so please read below for further details.

We ask that all visitors, before leaving home, please check our website and social media pages for the latest information.

A toilet block with hand washing facilities is provided near the main entrance with unisex toilets, baby changing areas and a disabled toilet.  Our disabled toilet is not fully accessible but we hope to have one in place in the future so please keep checking our website for updates.

We are a completely non-smoking site, this includes e-cigarettes. Please respect this and only smoke in the designated area in our car park.

Wheelchair and pushchair users will find our ground fairly flat, if sometimes a little bumpy!  Please read our Facilities & Accessibility Statement above for further details.

As a animal-based park we ask you wash your hands before eating and drinking, please remember to wash your hands using hot water and soap each time after touching an animal. Hand washing facilities are based across the site. We advise if pregnant not to touch some of our animals or visit the animal contact area during lambing season. More information relating to this can be found on the NHS Website.

We offer outdoor picnic areas across our site. We ask that you do not bring hot food on to site from other food outlets.

The park can be busy and throughout the day we play music and make announcements over the tannoy system. Whilst the play areas can be loud when busy the park is spacious and it is usually easy to find a quiet area outside.

With the help of The Autism Page we have developed a visual guide to visiting Avon Valley.  The guide is designed to help young children, customers with autism and sensory needs to prepare for their visit.  Click on this link to download a copy of a Visual Guide to Visiting Avon Valley

We have an interactive map along with loads of information about attractions and animals on the free to downloadand use app WishTrip which may help before and during visits to the park.

We understand that everyone has different needs so please do get in touch if we can help you with any requirements you may have. You can contact us by emailing helpdesk@avonvalley.co.uk.

Our park map is currently being updated for the Winter season.
