The Australian puppy children’s characters will be delighting visitors (including four legged ones) at the park from Saturday 4th May – Monday 6th May
Bluey and her sister Bingo, from the hit animated television show Bluey, are set to make an appearance as part of our bank holiday celebrations.
The beloved sisters, who make up one half of the Australian Heeler family, will be appearing at intervals across the weekend to meet fans. Children of all ages are invited to meet the curious and adventurous pups as their playful presence in the park creates memories for the young and young at heart.
It’s not just children that will have the opportunity to spend time with the duo. The CBeebies hit show is a favourite watch for many dogs, as the animation is designed to be predominantly blue and yellow – the two colours that pups are known to be able to see best. Avon Valley is dog-friendly, and encourages guests to bring their furry friends along with them to join in the pawsome fun.
Avon Valley is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Alongside meeting the characters, visitors to the park can meet and interact with real-life animals, enjoy adventure play, and go on the many park rides including the miniature railway train and jeep safari.
Doug Douglas, Owner of Avon Valley Wildlife Park, said: “Bluey and Bingo are going to be a wonderful addition to our bank holiday celebrations! Their sense of adventure and curiosity are so reminiscent of how we want our visitors to feel when they join us. We want to invite children of all ages to come and see the characters while they explore the park and meet real life animals at the same time.”
Tickets include day entry to the park. A personal photo with the characters is not guaranteed.
