Avon Valley Adventure Park Raises £2,593.39 for Ruth Strauss Foundation at Charity Easter Nights Event
We’re incredibly proud to announce that £2,593.39 was raised for the Ruth Strauss Foundation during our recent Charity Easter Nights event.
The event brought together families, friends and our local community for a memorable evening filled with fun, connection and generosity. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every guest who attended and contributed and all the staff and contractors volunteering your support made this achievement possible.

This year’s event carried a particularly personal significance for our team. It took place on the anniversary of the passing of our dearest friend Rob Collingwood. Through that experience, we were introduced to the Ruth Strauss Foundation and the incredible work they do supporting families facing bereavement, as well as funding research into non-smoking lung cancer.
Hosting the event on this date allowed us to honour his memory in a positive and meaningful way—bringing people together and supporting a cause that continues to help so many others.
The funds raised will contribute to the Foundation’s ongoing work, providing vital support to families during incredibly difficult times and advancing important research in non-smokers lung cancer.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the evening such a success, and proud to support the Ruth Strauss Foundation in the work they do.
